Dump Paul Ryan He Is Not Fit To Be Speaker

It should be pointed out that an analysis by The Washington Times shows that Donald Trump is on track to win the nomination on the first ballot.

Paul Ryan is NOT a man of his word. On March 15 he said;

“My position hasn’t changed on that,” he said on Tuesday when asked whether he would support the eventual nominee, whoever it may be.

But when asked how he could stand behind Trump as the nominee if he has fundamental issues with the front-runner, Ryan said, “The Republican primary voters are going to make a decision. This is not our decision to make.”

“I am speaker of the House, so I am going to keep doing what I said I am going to do,” Ryan said.”

It wasn’t just in March, Politico reports Paul Ryan said he would would back the nominee for months.

‘But after repeating the standard line for months that he would support the party’s nominee, the country’s highest-ranking Republican could not bring himself to do so once Trump actually became that person.”

Yesterday in addition to saying he wouldn’t support Trump,  Paul Ryan lied again. Most politically savvy people are aware that there has been a #DumpRyan movement afoot for quite some time. The Conservative Treehouse boils it down nicely in this tweet.

Via Breitbart;

“I’m just not ready to do that at this point. I’m not there right now,” Ryan told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Thursday. “This is the party of Lincoln, of Reagan, of Jack Kemp,” Ryan said. “We don’t always nominate a Lincoln or a Reagan every four years, but we hope that our nominee aspires to be Lincoln and Reagan-esque and that that person advances the principles of our Party and appeals to a wide vast majority of Americans.”

Tapper did not press Ryan on the fact that Trump has won more popular votes this primary election cycle than Mitt Romney did in all of 2012. Nor did he point out that Ryan’s position on immigration is supported by a maximum of only 7% of Republican voters, according to Pew polling data. Tapper similarly did not point out that only a minuscule 11% of Republican voters agree with Ryan’s vision on foreign trade.

CNN reports that Ryan’s opposition likely stems from Trump’s positions on trade and immigration:

Asked whether Trump’s proposed Muslim ban, his opposition to free trade and his call to deport 12 million undocumented immigrants would preclude him from ever supporting Trump, Ryan said: “We got work to do.”

Ryan’s declaration that he will not support the presumptive GOP nominee at this time is perhaps not entirely surprising given that on the seminal issues of this election, Speaker Ryan holds functionally the same positions as Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton: namely, Ryan supports more foreign migration, more foreign trade, and more foreign military engagements.”

This tweet from Breitbart editor John Nolte further shows the contempt for Speaker Ryan

Yesterday top Republican allies broke with Ryan over his lack of support for Donald Trump. Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson went so far as to say Paul Ryan isn’t fit to be Speaker.

“If the Speaker of the House doesn’t come around to supporting the Republican nominee, do you think Paul Ryan is still fit to be Speaker?” she was asked by “New Day” host John Berman on Friday.

“No, because this is about the party,” Pierson bluntly responded. “We were told to hold our noses and vote for the sake of the party,” she complained of Republican leadership in the past that promoted failed presidential tickets, including Ryan’s run with Mitt Romney in 2012.

“These same people are now telling us that because their guy didn’t win, they want to hurt the party,” Pierson said incredulously. “The issue here isn’t about Donald Trump,” Pierson asserted. “If you can’t hold yourself to the standard that you’re holding everyone else, the problem is with you.”

I was a supporter of the #DumpRyan club before this happened. I am supporting Paul Nehlen who will support Donald Trump and who is also against Paul Ryan’s push to sell out American’s with the TPP.

Via Breitbart: Ryan worked as President Obama’s “partner” in pushing to fast track Obama’s Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement. In an op-ed he co-authored with Sen. Ted Cruz in the Wall Street Journal, Ryan described the TPP as an “historic” agreement that “would mean greater access to a billion customers for American manufacturers, farmers and ranchers.”

I don’t think a liar and a sell out like Paul Ryan is fit to be Speaker. I don’t think he’s fit to be a dog catcher for that matter.
